Adult Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services
Dimock Outpatient services are located in the Goddard Building at 56 Dimock Street on The Dimock Center’s main campus.
The Dimock Center works in partnership with five area courts that refer patients to its outpatient programs. Masters Level Clinicians, Licensed Social Workers, Psychiatrists and a Psychologist form the program’s clinical team, which works in close partnership with program Support Staff. Simmons College, Boston University, Wheelock College, Cambridge College, The University of Massachusetts, and The City of Boston have partnered with The Dimock Center, providing support to ongoing Clinical Internship programs.
• Adult Mental Health (ages 18 and older) services provide individual and family consultation, as well as group therapy.
• Substance Abuse Services (ages 18 and older) provide individual consultation, family consultation, group therapy and psycho/educational groups. Specific groups include trauma, anger management, dual diagnosis and specialized services for men and women.
• Structured Outpatient Addiction Services (ages 18 and older) are provided five days a week from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. specifically for clients who require a less intensive level of care as a step down from Acute Treatment Services and Residential Placement.

Child and Adolescent Outpatient Services
Dimock Child and Adolescent Services (ages 3-18) are located in the Richards Building at 45 Dimock Street on The Dimock Center’s main campus. Licensed Clinicians, Child Psychiatry, Child Psychologist(s), Family Support and Domestic Violence Advocates form a comprehensive Child and Adolescent Clinical Team working in close partnership with program support staff.
• Child and Adolescent Outpatient Mental Health Services include individual consultation, group consultation, family therapy and medication management by a board certified child psychiatrist. The clinical team also provides services on-site in eleven schools throughout the Boston area.
• Teen Substance Abuse Outpatient Program (T-STOP) (ages 13-17) Masters Level and Licensed Clinicians provide individual consultation, and family consultation, psycho/educational and group counseling. A Structured Outpatient Addiction Program (SOAP) is available five days a week from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. for adolescents who are in need of a less intensive level of care as a step down from Acute Treatment Services and Residential Placement.
