This year, as we celebrate the 23rd anniversary of Steppin’ Out; we hope you will join us for a fun evening of music and dancing in support of the Dimock Center. We will bring together some of the most interesting, influential people in the city to celebrate the sounds of Jazz, Gospel, R&B, Latin Salsa and more. It will truly be an entertaining and multicultural evening.

The evening will feature internationally renowned and locally celebrated artists from the R&B, Jazz, Gospel, Latin, Folk, Bluegrass, Swing and Big Band genres.

Our 2010 Artists Include:

• Nine time Grammy Award winner, legendary pianist and composer Eddie Palmieri with the Brian Lynch Quartet

• Contemporary jazz saxophonist known as the ‘Heir to Grover Washington Jr’s throne,” Walter Beasley

• The soulful, swinging big band sound of Lavay Smith & Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers

• Soul Train Award winner, vocalist Maysa

 

• A new flavor of Latin music, the New York based octet, Mango Blue
